Everything you need to know about Shoptalk Europe 2026

Welcome to our frequently asked questions (FAQ) page, where you'll find answers to all your questions about Shoptalk Europe 2026. Whether you're curious about tickets, event features, or general information, this section is designed to help you prepare for an unforgettable event experience.

Registration

For the tickets within your sponsorship package, the main POC will recieve a unique URL from [email protected]. You will be able to register all of your team using this link or, you can invite your team members from within the platform and they can complete this individually.

At the first stage of registration, you can assign your Sponsor Admins who can oversee your team's meetings reps and update sponsor information.  

Assign an Assistant for Meetup – we recommend completing this when registering your team  

  • Assistants will be able to complete the required steps in the Meetup process on behalf of their colleagues who are attending if needed.  

  • To act as an Assistant for any of your colleagues, their email address must be entered as the Assistant Email Address when they register on the platform. Once this is set, you'll be able to request a One Time Passcode (OTC) to access the platform on their behalf and perform any necessary Meetup actions—such as submitting requests or opting into meeting, throughout the process.  

If you plan on attending Shoptalk Luxe and be an Assistant for your company, then please ensure that you register yourself with a ticket too. Register using your unique link that you will receive shortly after this email.  

Meetup profile 

Meetup opens on 5th May for profile completion. You will have received a separate link to the Meetup platform which is where you can update your organisation info and create profiles for yourself and your team.  

Sponsor tickets include access to our show floor, content sessions, food and networking breaks. Please see the agenda for which networking drinks or activities that sponsor tickets are included in.

Location: The registration desk will be located in hall 6 via the entrance at Gate 4.

In order to gain access to the hall for build-up and breakdown periods, space only sponsors and contractors will be required to register themselves using Fira Gran Via's online registration system here, please refer to this useful guide on how to register. Once you have successfully registered, you will recieve a confirmation email with your contractor badge. 
If you are a shell scheme sponsor, you can collect your sponsor badge from registration from 2pm on Monday 8th and enter the hall with this. Anyone without a delegate badge will need a contractor badge which can be applied for below. Important notes to remember when accessing the hall: 
  • Please print your contractor badge before coming onsite, or make sure you have it ready on your mobile device to be shown at the entrance. 
  • Please note, contractor badges only permit entry to the hall during build-up and breakdown periods, if you need access to the venue during show days, you must purchase a delegate ticket.

No, we do not offer any “show floor only” or “one-day” tickets. Tickets provide access to all aspects of Shoptalk Europe (that are not private), including sessions, networking events, receptions, the show floor etc. We do not offer any show floor-only or partial attendance rates.
No, tickets cannot be shared between individuals. Each individual attending Shoptalk Europe must purchase their own individual ticket, each ticket covers you for the duration of the event.
Shoptalk Europe does not share or sell attendee contact information. We have been informed that a company claiming to sell the Shoptalk Europe attendee list with contact information has reached out to several of our sponsors. We have not authorised any company to contact you. We recommend that you do not reply to or speak with any organisation claiming to sell the Shoptalk attendee list and do not share your credit card information. Please send onto your Account Manager so we can action a cease and desist. 
As stated in our Terms of Attendance and Participation, tickets to Shoptalk Europe are nonrefundable. If you can no longer attend Shoptalk Europe, please reach out to our registration team.

Travel & Accommodation

Barcelona-El Prat airport has two terminals, T1 and T2, where around 100 airlines operate.
We have a range of hotels with preferred rates reserved for a limited time, which are close to the venue – a short taxi journey away. Please see these available here.
Line 9 Sud runs from the airport to Fira Gran Via and to the city of Barcelona. It connects with three other main metro lines, so almost all areas of the city have an easy route to Fira Gran Via. The main metro station of the enclosure is called Fira. Taxi's are also readily available within Barcelona city centre. 

General

Shoptalk Europe 2026 will take place from Tuesday 9th - Thursday 11th June at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.
We recommend arriving by Monday afternoon on 8th June 2026 and departing the evening of Thursday 11th June 2026. Exhibiting sponsors should reference the show timetable which details build-up, show open and breakdown schedules, to help determine arrival and departure times best suited to you.

The dress code is business or business casual.
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for all attendees throughout the venue. Network details will be displayed on on-site signage and printed on every attendee badge.
No, there is no Business Centre located at Fira Gran Via. 
Yes, the show floor is carpeted.

Please ensure you bring appropriate PPE for build and all suppliers are wearing safety vests, helmets where applicable and closed toe shoes.

All meetings should be scheduled during the show floor open hours. All individuals participating in meetings, must be registered Shoptalk Europe attendees, with a badge to access the show floor.

Gastrofira has sole rights over the stand catering and hospitality catering activity at Fira Gran Via. You can place catering & hospitality orders for your stand directly, via Fira Gran Via’s online webshop Servifira.

Prepare yourself for a culinary delight! Breakfast and lunch will be provided across the show floor everyday. Between meals, you will also have a range of snacks from our lounges and tea, coffee, & water served throughout the day.
There is a complimentary cloakroom available during show days. It is located next to registration. 
We have a mother's room available at the show. It will be located in CC7 meeting room number 7.7. Please reach out to the team for guidance on [email protected]

Creche

Available to children of minimum age of 6 months. Our creche is most suitable for young children but if necessary we would adapt for older children. 
 
We cover a full day which includes meals, but it doesn't cover evening events.
The creche covers show open hours and does not cover any pre show or evening networking events.
It will be English speaking.
The creche is a complimentary service to all attednees provided by Shoptalk who cover the per day costs for registered attendees.

Health & Safety

Medical and First Aid will be located on the You Are Here map around the show floor. Please get in touch with a member of the Shoptalk Europe team if you need assistance. Security is in operation across the venue and show spaces.

General stand queries

Exhibitor’s representatives may not distribute promotional literature, brochures, invitations etc. along gangways or near the entrance/exits. Such activities are to be confined within the stand boundaries. 
In an effort to encourage sustainability, we ask that you go digital where possible and reduce the amount of giveaways you wish to distribute. Please see the important notice below of restricted products. 
IMPORTANT: Restricted Goods (non-EU only) 
The following products are restricted by Spanish Customs/Health Authorities, please contact us RESA Logistics before shipping any of the following: 
  • Foods/beverage (incl. sweets)
  • All products to be in contact with foodstuff /beverage (e.g., cups, mugs, bags, cutlery, empty bottles/ empty recipients) 
  • Pharmaceutical and medical products or equipment (incl. hand sanitizers & masks) 
  • Toys (like fidget spinners & teddy bears) 
  • Cosmetics 
  • Medicines 
  • Plants 
  • Live animals 
  • All products to be imported must comply with EU regulations, and CE marking when required. 
Therefore before shipping any items, the sender needs to get in touch with Resa Expo Logistics in order to receive all relevant information regarding transport, labelling, customs, deadlines etc. as well as tariffs and the necessary forms to book their services. 
Please note, when arriving for build and breakdown, you should access the venue via Gate 4 where you will be directed to a parking location if required.

Our offical contractor GES are able to supply you with a selection of furniture, please see here to view. You are able to bring your own furniture as long as it stays within your stand.
It is a condition of your contractual agreement that you maintain adequate insurance coverage for your participation in the event, with a minimum limit of £200,000 per occurrence to cover liability and any other relevant costs and expenses arising from your involvement. All exhibiting sponsors are also required to include Health and Safety information within their risk assessments, which must be readily available for inspection onsite if requested by the Organisers.

If you have a turnkey stand package as part of your sponsorship you have electrics included in your sponsorship package. Please view here to see whats included in your package. If you wish to increase your electrics requirements please reach out to GES directly here
If you have a space only stand, please note that there are no electrics included with in your package. Any requirements for electrics must be ordered directly through our official contractor GES here.
