Michelle is currently the CMO of Kendra Scott where she leads the brand marketing and e-commerce teams for the growing lifestyle brand. She joins Kendra Scott with 20 years of diverse marketing experience and a proven track record of brand building and strategic growth on prominent consumer businesses in food and packaged goods, and multi-unit retail. Most recently, Peterson was CMO at Pressed, a leading plant-based treats and cold pressed juice brand. Michelle spent 18 years of her career with General Mills where she held various leadership positions in marketing, strategic growth channels, and new product innovation. After General Mills, she served as the as the Vice President at LifeSpa, Lifetime Fitness and the Global Vice President of Holiday Inn Express.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University. Michelle says her purpose in life is to create moments of joy – for customers, with her team, during her Orange Theory workouts, and most importantly for her amazing husband, Kyle, and three wonderful daughters Sierra, Sonoma, and Gianna.
