Amiee Bayer-Thomas is Chief Retail Officer of Ulta Beauty, leading the store and services organization across more than 1,500 stores and 60,000 associates, as well as the real estate growth and development, store design and visual merchandising, and asset protection strategy. Her leadership is grounded in the frontline and shaped by more than 30 years in retail and beauty. Having grown up in retail, Amiee brings a deep understanding of the store, the associate and the guest to her leadership approach. She is known for translating enterprise strategy into execution at scale, advancing operational excellence and continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams and fostering a strong, people-first culture. Since joining Ulta Beauty in 2016 as a Regional Vice President, Amiee has held roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Store Operations Officer, Chief Supply Chain Officer, and SVP of Stores – West Division and Corporate Store Operations. Her experience spans the full retail operating model, from supply chain through the selling floor. As Chief Supply Chain Officer, she led significant transformation to optimize operations and better serve stores and e-commerce guests, and throughout her tenure she has helped lead the business through periods of significant change and disruption. Prior to Ulta Beauty, Amiee held senior leadership roles at JCPenney and Limited Brands across store operations, field leadership, merchandising and beauty.   Amiee serves on the Board of Directors of CAVA Group, Inc. and the Board of Directors of YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and previously served on the advisory board of Shoptalk. Her leadership has been recognized across the retail industry, including as a Moves Power Woman and an honoree of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.
