Sam is a Partner at VMG Technology in San Francisco, backing commerce enablement companies in supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, checkout, financial operations, and vertical SaaS. He led or supported VMG’s investments in Tracksuit, Fermat, Auxia, and Claim. Prior to VMG, Sam spent a decade in Technology investing (at TPG and DFJ Growth) and operating (first business hire at Homebase). He got his bachelors and MBA from Stanford, where he was an economics major and Mayfield Fellow as an undergrad and Arjay Miller Scholar in business school. Sam is from San Francisco, where he and his wife, Hannah, now live with their two kids.
