What started as a direct-to-consumer brand has grown into a professional powerhouse, with Bushbalm products now carried in over 12,000 waxing salons across North America.
In addition to its strong professional presence, Bushbalm is reshaping retail by partnering with Ulta Beauty, making professional-grade post-wax and shave care more accessible to consumers nationwide. This dual-channel approach—serving both industry professionals and everyday customers—positions Bushbalm at the forefront of a hair removal market that’s far larger than most realize, with 10 times more waxing salons in the U.S. than Starbucks.
Before launching Bushbalm, David spent over seven years at Shopify, working closely with Chief Operating Officer Toby Shannan. There, he learned firsthand how to scale high-growth companies. He has since applied that experience to drive Bushbalm past eight figures in revenue, with hundreds of thousands of loyal customers and a rapidly expanding global footprint.
Under David’s leadership, Bushbalm continues to innovate, educate estheticians, and redefine the standards for post-hair removal care—setting the stage for an entirely new era in the industry.
