Thomas Stephens is General Manager of Retail at DoorDash, where he leads the company’s retail business and works with merchants of all sizes to meet evolving consumer expectations for on-demand commerce. Since first joining DoorDash in 2016, Thomas has helped launch new U.S. markets, founded Special Operations, and led the company's first launches outside of North America, serving as General Manager for Australia and Japan. He also co-founded Upfront, a Y Combinator-backed curated marketplace for local services, before returning to DoorDash in 2025 to lead Retail.
